Enicoat 30-36

DESCRIPTION

Enicoat 30-36 is zero VOC, fire retardant, high grade, flexible adhesive and sealant, forming a durable and long lasting seal against air leakage. Due to its excellent water, U.V. and abrasionresistance, it can be used in outdoors as well as indoors to protect the various thermal insulations specially for air-conditioning duct, chilled water line, hot water line etc.

APPLICATION

It can be used to protect various insulation like Fibrous wool, Nitrile rubber foam, Polyethylene foam etc. used in air-conditioning duct, chilled and hot water pipe line.

FEATURES

Enicoat 30-36 has excellent features such as:

  • Good adhesion and high strength.
  • Excellent brushing characteristics resulting in better coverage and uniform finish
  • Water resistant can be washed with mild soap.
  • Non-toxic & non- flammable.
  • UVresistance.
  • Chemical resistance.

Surface Preparation

The surface should be sound, cleans, dry, leveled and free from dust grease and other loose debris.

Application Method

Apply a tack coat of Enicoat 30-36 @ 3 to 3.5 m / liter. After applying tack coat immediately imbed the selected lagging fabric smoothly in to the wet coating. Apply two finish coat of ENICOAT 30-36 at rate of 4 to 5 m2 / liter.

Special Note:

It is very important to ensure that each coat of Enicoat 30-36 totally cured before the next coat is applied. The dry film thickness will vary with fabric selected.

Mode of Application :

  • Brush- Use suitable paint brush and apply with full brush and spread out evenly.
  • Roller- Use medium piled paint roller and dipped fully and spread out evenly.
  • Spray- Enicoat 30-36 can be applied with airless spray.
